Healing Touch is energy-based bodywork that promotes self-healing and personal growth. The training program is internationally recognized and certification is a rigorous process. HT enhances traditional medical approaches to acute and chronic illnesses. It enhances our energy system and reestablishes balances by releasing energy blocks, supporting our body’s ability to heal, fight infection and modulate mood.
Recipients report feeling relaxed, calm and lighter after a Healing Touch session. Many of the techniques can be used at home for self care to reduce pain and stress and to hasten healing.
A Healing Touch Treatment costs $60.00 for an hour long session.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
In addition to our physical body we have an energetic body, referred to as the subtle energy field. Our popular language reflects that we are naturally tuned into the energy around us. For example, we describe feeling bad “vibes”, feeling drained, disconnected, shocked, fried, turned off, or unnerved. These are examples of stressed energetic systems. The opposite is true when we say we are walking on air, turned on, charged up or feeling good vibes.
Healing touch enhances our energy system and re-establishes balance by releasing energy blocks. Stress, injury, illnesses, surgery and habitual negative thinking create these blocks. As tension is released from the body a deep sense of relaxation promotes circulation, cleanses stress hormones and quiets the mind. As additional oxygen, nutrients and hormones circulate to the cells the body builds healthy tissue and releases waste products. This supports our body’s ability to heal, fight infection and modulate mood.
The work is experienced on a massage table, fully clothed. The practitioner moves her hands above the body to assess the nature of the energy field. A pendulum is often used to assess the energy centers in the body known as chakras. Various hand motions release the stress held in the body and re-establish energy flow. Recipients report feeling relaxed, calm and lighter. This sense of well-being continues after the session. Many techniques can be used at home for self-care to reduce stress and pain and to hasten healing.
