Moonglow Yoga's teacher training certification program is certified through Yoga Alliance® and has a comprehensive, in-depth and intuitive approach to becoming a yoga instructor.
Melanie Alexander is the Director of our Yoga Teacher Trainings and Workshop Programs at Moonglow Yoga. She directs the 200 hour teacher trainings, and works with specialized teachers to develop the Workshop Programs.
In our trainings, you will gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence necessary to allow you to become an exceptional and successful yoga teacher. You will be prepared to teach in any venue you choose. Our school is recognized by Yoga Alliance to teach the 200 hour certification program. Certification for yoga teachers complies with the educational standards established by Yoga Alliance®.
Our training program will broaden your yoga practice, help you develop deeper awareness of your body's wisdom and energy, all while learning how to share the benefits of yoga with others as a teacher.
If you are looking for a training program with a small group setting, personal student-teacher relationships, and a supportive cast of special guest teachers from all around the yoga community, then our training program is for you! Past trainings have included respected teachers and speakers such as Wade Zinter (Advanced Yoga Poses), Stacy MacBeth (Kundalini Yoga), Scott Israel (Kundalini Yoga), Bhante Pemerantana (Abbot - Pittsburgh Buddhist Center, Vipassana Meditation workshop), Linda Vuchelich (Energy Dynamics, Chakra/QiGong workshop), and Sue Stoker (Pranayama and gentle yoga).
This training program is a well-balanced and encompassing learning experience aimed at helping you become the best you can be. Students who have completed the requirements (as standardized by the Yoga Alliance) will graduate as a Certified RYT® 200 instructor. For further information, email us or call Melanie at 412-551-1555.

"The teacher training was fabulous. I learned so much more than I imagined in the nine months. My knowledge of yoga increased dramatically thorough a superb curriculum and my practice advanced to a whole new level. In addition to the knowledge of yoga, we discovered even more about ourselves through physical, mental and spiritual awakening."
